I’m continuing to explore creating variations of kinetic earrings. Recently, I’ve fabricated them with amethyst faceted stones. Movement and color are a feature in this subtle pair of earrings. The deep purple color of semi precious amethyst is enhanced by being set in an opened back, tube bezel. Light passes through the gem from behind as well as the front. These earrings measure 1 1/2” long. Amethyst is the birthstone for February.
